**Project Description**
The protein biochemistry group within our client's R&D (PRD) is looking for additional support to provide a flexible scientist to support recombinant protein expression activities.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to ensure and/or perform timely data generation.
- May supervise/train in a matrix setting technicians, and other scientists in techniques related to the area of expertise.
- Active participation and presentation of lab results in internal meetings, ensuring quality interpretation and extensive quality check of raw data.
- Ensure highest ethical standards, good scientific practices & data integrity are implemented in daily scientific activities.
- Participate to weekly lab meetings.
- Responsible to ensure and/or perform timely data generation.

**Profile / Basic Qualifications**:
- PhD in Life Sciences with +2 years of postdoctoral or pharmaceutical industry experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Wide expertise in Molecular Biology, recombinant protein expression and protein biochemistry
- Additional experience in laboratory automation, microbiology and/or immunology is an asset
- Fluent in English (oral and writing). French (oral and writing) is a plus.
- Result-oriented, rigorous and structured.
- Dynamic, positive, and curious. Open to change/able to easily adapt to changes in the workplace.
