Hays zoekt voor Volvo Trucks een lean-specialist met ervaring in het leiden van continuous improvement activiteiten in een logistieke omgeving.
**Over de organisatie**
Het CDC (Central Distribution Center) in Gent is het grootste magazijn van de Volvo Group, uitgebaat door ongeveer 800 briljante en betrokken mensen, die dagelijks hun uiterste best doen om reserveonderdelen in kwaliteit en op tijd te ontvangen en te leveren om onze klanten tevreden te stellen, voor alle merken (Volvo Trucks, VCE, Penta, Volvo Bus, Renault Trucks) over de hele wereld.
Bij Volvo Trucks geloven ze steevast in de filosofie van Lean, waarbij aandacht voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en het milieu topprioriteit zijn.
**Jouw nieuwe functie**
Als continuous improvement leader kom je terecht in het CDC (Central Distribution Center) in Gent, het grootste magazijn van de Volvo Group.
Jij bent expert en drijvende kracht in Volvo’s streven naar operational excellence.
Je vertaalt de ambities in een concrete acties en streefdoelen en plant en coördineert de continuous improvement activiteiten.
Jij coacht en begeleid collega’s en zorgt er samen voor dat de medewerkers doordrongen worden van de filosofie van een duurzame continuous improvement.
**Jouw profiel**
Je hebt een grondige kennis van lean principes en de toepassing ervan in logistiek.
Je hebt ervaring in het gebruik van lean methodes (5 whys, VSM, Makigami, Kaizen, etc. ) en je hebt ervaring met het leiden van complexe continuous improvement projecten.
Je bent goed in het plannen en coördineren van activiteiten.
Je bent een team player.
Je kan goed communiceren met mensen op de verschillende niveaus in de organisatie en bent in staat is mensen mee te krijgen in het verhaal.
Je bent vlot in Nederlands en Engels.
