We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated **Facility Specialist** for our sites in Mechelen and Antwerp, where you have an important role in providing good and efficient services to employees and visitors.

With a view to internal security, you are the person to be called upon to supervise external service providers, but also to have services such as maintenance of logistics assets and inspections carried out. If necessary, you will take care of facility purchases within budget. Periodically, you will assess the entire facility services and provide improvement proposals (also aimed at efficiency).

**What does your day look like as a Facility Specialist?**
- You are responsible for setting up data driven Facility Management Implementing and deploying the FMIS
- You will provide insight, running and analyzing reports from the FMIS amongst others
- You are the operational contact for FMIS supplier
- You will support the Region, Business Unit and local Facility Management teams regarding FMIS
- Train facility colleagues regarding the FMIS
- Be involved in the implementation of FMIS in new builds and projects
- You will be based from the Mechelen site but will be required to support Antwerp site as well

**What do you need to be successful**
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant area (preferably technical) with accompanying high level analytical skills
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a complex and multidimensional organisation
- You have broad experience in the field of Health and Safety
- You have a proactive and flexible approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English and Dutch essential
- You are hands-on, solution-oriented and have a service-oriented attitude
- You can work independently and can work well together in a team
- EU Driving license is required
