Functional Analyst Position
- Hays is looking for a Functional Analyst for one of our clients in Namur._

**The role you will take**:

- Participating in the functional analysis of IT systems.
- Translating functional needs of users into clear and structured specifications for the development team.
- Analyzing user requirements and utilizing modeling languages such as UML and BPMN.
- Contributing to and maintaining improvements of the solutions being developed.
- Writing test plans and ensuring their correct execution
- Working with SQL and relational databases (Oracle Spatial, PostGreSQL/PostGIS).
- Building long-lasting client relationships, providing assistance, and offering advice.
- Critically reviewing processes and tools and involving colleagues in implementing improvements.
- Driving solutions, processes, and collaborations to a higher level.

**Your profile**:

- At least 5 years’ experience as a Functional Analyst with experience in Software Development
- Fluent in French and English
- Familiarity with data manipulation tools (ETL) and scripting in Python is a plus.
- Experience with utilizing project management tools like JIRA for efficient project execution.
- Professional knowledge of UML & BPMN
