**Job Description**:

- As a Software Architect, you will join Devoteam's Creative Tech team._
- Mission_
- _ Define high-level design and strategic planning for software products_
- _ Drive the implementation of new technologies and methods_
- _ Write high level design/code and contribute to code review_
- _ Initiate new ideas and recommend innovative solutions_
- _ Working closely with the leadership team, the architecture team, as well as architects on other initiatives/products, leading the overall technology roadmap for the Longview product suite_

**Qualifications**:

Profile_**
- _ Strong experience in software development_
- _ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills_
- _ Strong knowledge of software development principles and best practices_
- _ Communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams_
- _ Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders_
- _ Familiar with software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall_
- _ Willingness to keep up to date on innovative development frameworks and cloud technologies by following trainings, courses and certifications_
- _ Fluency in Dutch or French and English_

**_ Technical requirements_**
- _ Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles, such as Clean Software Architecture, Data Structures, Microservices, Event-Driven, MVC, and SOA_
- _ Experience with backend development in Java, C#, Python, or Node.JS_
- _ Experience with designing, developing and deploying large-scale, complex software systems_
- _ Experience with databases, SQL or NoSQL_
- _ Familiar with API specification standards_

**_ Assets_**
- _ Experience with designing and delivering Cloud ready solutions such as AWS, Azure, or GCP_
- _ Experience with containerization/orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes_
- _ Experience with frontend development in Angular, React or VueJS_
- _ Understanding of CI/CD/DevOps/DevSecOps principles_
- _ Understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes_
- _ Understanding of security and compliance standards_
- _ Experience with Domain Driven Design_
- _ Experience designing event sourced and messaging based systems_
- _ Demonstrated experience coming into existing, complex systems and developing a strong phased approach to refactoring and rearchitecting to an ambitious plan_
- _ Understanding of modern UI/UX design principles_
