We are looking for a Head of Global Rewards to work from our headquarters based in Wavre, Belgium.

The Head of Global Rewards is responsible for shaping and leading the Total Rewards strategy of the organization to attract, retain, engage, and motivate employees, as well as advising business leaders on the best practices for total reward practices and processes.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our Total Rewards programmes globally. This includes compensation, benefits, equity and recognition programmes, as well as benchmark and job grading exercises. The role is based in RHEA Global Headquarters, in Wavre, Belgium and reports to the Group VP Human Resources.

**Tasks and Activities**:
The scope of work will include:

- Develop and implement global Total Rewards strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Design, implement and manage the compensation and benefits programmes, including base salary, variable pay, equity plans, insurances, global mobility policies, car policies and other benefits.
- Lead projects around compensation and benefits benchmark, job grading and functions classification as well as competency management and develop a career paths framework, in co-operation with business and HR stakeholders.
- Ensure that the total rewards programmes comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Total Rewards programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with external partners.
- Develop and implement recognition programmes to drive employee engagement and retention.
- Work closely with HR business partners and other stakeholders to ensure that total rewards programmes are integrated into broader HR and business strategies.
- Develop and deliver communications and training on total rewards programmes to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.

**Skills and Experience**:
The following skills and experience are mandatory:

- Master’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits at European scale, with preferably a few years’ experience in a leading and influencing role.
- Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, trends and regulations in Europe, including global mobility packages and job grading and benchmark exercise experience at a global scale.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking: you should be able to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for the organization’s compensation and benefits programmes, while being hands-on and able to work both at strategic and operational level.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions. You should be able to gather and analyze data on employee compensation, benefits, and related costs to enable programme design and decision-making.
- Experience in change management and being able to implement new compensation and benefits programmes effectively.
- Ability to navigate through change, ambiguity, uncertainty and complexity.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills be able to work effectively with other departments.
- Technical proficiency to be able to analyze data using spreadsheets, databases, and other software tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Fluent spoken and written English and French.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

- Knowledge of another European language.
