At Baxter Healthcare, we are committed to improving the lives of patients worldwide through innovative medical technologies and therapies. We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist, fluent speaker of French, English, and Dutch, to join our Belgium office-based team to support our mission for a 6 months contract.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Implement and ensure compliance with the Baxter PV system for medicinal products in Benelux, in accordance with local and harmonized PV regulations/standards and Baxter policies/procedures.
- Act as Local Qualified Person Responsible for Pharmacovigilance in Benelux countries.
- Collect, document, and follow up on all local Adverse Events and other relevant pharmacovigilance information received locally from all sources according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform appropriate Safety Risk Management activities to ensure oversight of medicinal product safety and appropriate action when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of and align with the Baxter Pharmacovigilance Quality systems and policies.
- Ensure all safety information at a local level is captured in the Global Pharmacovigilance safety database, also for submission purposes.
- Ensure appropriate liaison with country Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Business Units, Legal, etc., to enable Pharmacovigilance input into country strategic planning for products throughout their lifecycle.
**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:
- Degree in pharmacy/medicine/nursing/life science.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, English, and Dutch.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
