**Introduction**:
One of our clients is currently looking for a GIS Functional Analyst to assume the role of a designer of functional solutions adapted to the needs expressed by business as part of the development and maintenance process.
**Duties/role**:
- Performing functional analysis and file follow-up:
- Analyzing and designing suitable automatable IT processes to business processes;
- Writing the functional specifications (use case, diagram of activity, sequence diagram, etc.);
- Translating the functional specifications produced into test scenarios complete (step, data, etc.);
- Ensuring the transmission of specifications to Developers as well as their good understanding;
- Executing the computer acceptance and performance tests defined in test scenarios;
- Assisting business users during the execution of their acceptance tests;
- Documenting the problems detected during the various tests and addressing them to the Developers;
- Monitoring the resolution of detected problems and ensuring the quality of the correction;

- Providing 3rd Line support to the Support team in place;
- Providing architecture support:
- Participating in workshops organized by the business or by the IT Architect during the preparation phase of a business request;
- Providing the necessary support to the IT Architect during the phase definition/clarification of business needs;
- Documenting the analyses completely and clearly during the development or maintenance activities.
