**Missions essentielles**:
**As Barley Quality Manager Europe, you will play a central role in managing Barley supplier quality & food safety control across the European region. You will collaborate with the quality, procurement and commercial teams, to ensure that the procurement of Barley is always in line with our global business objectives, our internal business standards and surpass international and national legislative requirements (where possible).**

**Your main tasks include**:

- Establishing and maintaining a robust and compliant supplier quality system across the European region
- Implementation and improvement of our pre-screening program for incoming raw material quality and food safety
- Responsible for setting up regular crop report overviews (quality + food safety) in collaboration with the agricultural team across the region
- Pro-active approach concerning the identification and management of all potential crop related issues
- Train and develop the cluster quality teams and site teams about determining barley quality, the (potential) risks and mitigation actions (corrective + preventive)
- Collaborate with the barley procurement and commercial teams to determine quality related risks and opportunities
- Support local teams to ensure that the sites always perform in the most optimal way with the available barley quality so we can maximise the potential quality that is in the raw material
- Capture and submit and resolve supplier complaints with all relevant stakeholders involved in a timely manner
- Being the recognised first point of contact with raw material suppliers on all matters/issues related to barley quality and food safety

**Master recherché****:

- You have a Masters degree in a relevant field (agriculture, bio engineering, brewing and malting,.;) or equal by experience
- You are passionate about agriculture and have a good knowledge of grain and grain quality
- You have enjoy supplier management and can determine supplier quality, taking into account all aspects
- You speak and write English fluently, French is an important plus. Other languages are a plus
