**IT Area Lead HR, Fiance and Reporting**

A day in the life of an IT Area Lead of HR and Finance & Reporting

Leading the Tech organization of 28 internals and 50+ externals, responsibilities include IT delivery and IT-related decisions and ensuring stability and reliability of the IT services provided.

Managing Budget & Resources of the department, proactively monitoring your own budget and aligning with your counterparts.

Identifying and adopting applicable changes in the market with regards to innovation, time to market, procedures, processes, and methods to stay one step ahead.

Ensuring a safe and compliant bank from an IT perspective (IT custodianship) by guaranteeing that all assets in scope comply with the risk management model.

Defining and implementing the IT strategy for Finance & Reporting and HR and ensuring adoption of ING One Agile Way of Working, nurturing IT maturity and craftsmanship.

Responsible for sourcing of IT Area of HR and Finance & Reporting: steering on correct staffing and people development for the IT Area, both internal workforce & sourcing with partners, defining and optimizing sourcing strategy.

**The team**

The focus areas of this IT Area Lead are:
Supporting Finance & Reporting, HR, and other business stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Procurement) in the daily and monthly business processes, like monthly accounting closing, reporting to regulators or to ING Group, implementation and evidencing of SoX controls.

In close collaboration with Tribe/COE Leads, elaborating/refining the Tribe’s roadmap accordingly to group and bank targets, and delivering on these, with focus on efficiency, data quality and simplification.

Bringing a fresh and innovative vision on how to solve new challenges in HR and Finance & Reporting domains in the current and future regulatory and technical context that is mainly data driven.
