Process Assistant- Engineering - Leuven | Just now- Contribute to advanced process development that is critical to the success of our research programs and projects- What you will doWet clean and surface functionalization processes are ubiquitous in the semiconductor industry. Wet processes (clean, etch, strip, etc.) are extensively used for device manufacturing integrated into modern automobiles, smart devices for communication, etc. Such complex wet cleaning and drying processes involve the removal of particles and chemical impurities from semiconductor, dielectric, and metal surfaces, using state-of-the-art wet processing hardware.
Therefore, we are looking for a motivated enthusiastic process assistant to join our team.
- You will focus on supporting the research on a chemical lab and the development on state-of-the-art 300 mm tools.
- You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment together with imec researchers, hardware engineers, industry assignees, and process experts and scientists.

Who you are
- You obtained a bachelor’s in Science or have more than 5 years of FAB manufacturing experience.
- You are a dynamic person with a positive mindset.
- You enjoy supporting team members to reach the team goals.
- You can work within cross-disciplined technical teams.
- You are a strong team player and also able to work without supervision.
- Given the international character of imec, fluency in English is a must.
