UCB is an international biopharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the research, development, and commercialization of pharmaceutical and biotechnological products. It specializes in researching therapeutic solutions for patients suffering from severe diseases, treated by specialists, particularly in the fields of the central nervous system (including epilepsy) and inflammation (including allergies).
**Mission**
We are hiring an associate scientist to join our Epilepsy Research Group, contributing directly to innovative in vivo epilepsy studies and supporting the adoption of new digital tools to advance our research.
- To equip you for success, we will provide comprehensive training in stereotactic surgery, digital EEG software for interpreting and analyzing EEG data (with an emphasis on automation), and essential biochemical techniques like Western blotting, PCR, and immunohistochemistry for targeted analysis.
- This position offers a unique opportunity for a scientist passionate about epilepsy research and excited to harness digital and machine-learning tools to push the boundaries of neuroscience.

- Be between 18 and 28 years of age;
- Be a citizen of a member country of the European Economic Area;
- Not have worked or lived in the country where the mission will take place;
- Be available to devote yourself full-time to the mission;
- If you are of French nationality or dual nationality, be in compliance with France's national service obligations (Numéro Identifiant Défense);
- Have a clean criminal record.
