As Deputy Scheduling Manager TUI fly Belgium you support the Scheduling Manager in implementing the scheduling policy and processes as described in the Scheduling Procedure Handbook and in translating this policy and processes into rosters for flight and cabin crew members. You will aim for best in class operational performance while doing so.
You will coordinate and ensure that rosters are published in a correct and timely manner taking into account all training requirements.

**ABOUT THE JOB**:
As Deputy Scheduling Manager TUI fly Belgium you will coordinate the day-to-day planning of all flight and cabin crew members of TUI fly Belgium & Morocco until 72h before departure of the flights, including operational and commercial training duties. You will coach the schedulers on a daily basis to increase operational excellence in their ways of working. While ensuring that the legal regulations (OM A Ch. 7, social labour law, training and license expiries, ) and the Company Guidelines are respected, you will coach the schedulers to aim for the highest possible productivity and equal distribution of duties.
You will coordinate the planning of holiday for all flight and cabin crew members within the boundaries of legal regulations and company agreements. Additionally to planning the rosters of flight and cabin crew members, you also coordinate the day-to-day scheduling of ground duties for all flight and cabin crew members with additional ground functions (e.g. CSA, reception, Unit Coaches, ).
In your job as Deputy Scheduling Manager TUI fly Belgium you will represent the Scheduling department in social fora (workers council, FSAG, ) if the Scheduling Manager is not available. Together with the Scheduling Manager you will try to find solutions for issues addressed in these social fora.
You will inform the Scheduling Manager about trends and difficulties experienced in the day-to-day scheduling on a proactive basis and make recommendations to improve the scheduling policy and processes.
You will collaborate closely with the Crew Control department to ensure efficient and qualitative hand-overs from the scheduling timeframe to the 72h Crew Control timeframe.
You will collaborate with various other departments e.g. HR, Crew Control, Training,to ensure proactive, timely and qualitative information sharing about day-to-day matters. Moreover you will coordinate and give input to the Unit Coaches and Head of Pilots in case of attitude issues, exceptional cases,
Together with the Scheduling Manager you will manage and coach a team of approx. 17 schedulers and ensure that their delivery meets the defined quality and quantity. You will report into the Scheduling Manager TUI fly Belgium.

- You have a Bachelor degree or equal by experience
- You have strong people management skills and significant operational experience
- You have experience in a Scheduling and preferable in a leadership role
- You are eager to always find the best and most efficient solutions to problems
- You have the ability to operate with multiple stakeholders
- You have the ability to operate in a changing environment and under time pressure
- You are an effective communicator
- You are a self-motivated and autonomous worker with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively
