Missions
- Responsible for supporting workshop team and other departments in order to implement the Quality Mindset, implementing improvements and problem solving.
- Monitoring and Support in incoming parts untill final product release, checking and ensuring that the parts produced are according to the specification and requirements.
- Lead the problem solving activities in order to improve all aspects of Quality Process and steps.
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of the Quality System and its process, procedures and facilities
KPI's
- Quality Issue Monitoring and lead action to solve them;
- Follow and respect the safety rules, always taking care of him/herself and other colleagues;
- Problem-solving and immediate action and report in case of any irregularity;
- stop the production (or any other process) in order to ensure the conformity of product eliminating risks related to the process and people;
- Propose improvements for the process, products and laboratory;
- Ensure Conformity parts released since the incoming to final product.
Activities
- Follow and respect ALL safety rules according to procedures and what’s is required by the company;
- Responsible/Support incoming process ensuring that only parts that are according to requirements/specifications will be released, following the procedure requested: Check the components’ documentation for each component delivered and verify the conformity.
- Authority to release parts received and final products produced;
- Support to workshop and other areas as interface of Quality, clarifying any question, implementing Quality Mindset and solving issues when applied;
- Authority to stop the production (or any other process) in order to ensure the conformity of product eliminating risks related to the process and people;
- Lead action plans and follow up corrective and preventive actions for any risk, non-conformity, and opportunities for improvement
- Responsible for planning the activities under this scope (with manager’s support when necessary)
- Responsible for segregating and identification of products NC and authority to release them in cases of the analysis done and risks known well and/or approved by Project Team or responsible for the Product/Quality.
- Responsible for elaborating procedures, instruction and forms.
- Keeping Quality equipment/tooling/workplace in good condition, cleaned and organized.
- Responsible for deploying Quality Alert
Competencies requirements
- Recommended degree in Engineering, Quality or Quality Technologist/Technician:
- Experience in the role or areas of Quality Support;
- Fluent English, Dutch (Flemish) and French are plus
- Knowledge of Quality Tools and Core Tools;
- Understanding of automotive requirements is a plus
