Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to oversee an accounting team and manage accounting operations for two legal entities.
You will work closely with the BELUX CFO and the management control team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Lead and supervise an accounting team, ensuring task allocation, skill development (training), and promoting well-being and collaboration.
- Oversee and maintain accounting records in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle statutory obligations including preparation and submission of BNB accounts, tax filings, transfer pricing and corporate advisory bundles.
- Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on internal and external audits.
- Manage periodic closings and reporting, including balance sheet and P&L analysis, reconciliations, etc.
- Oversee treasury functions, including complete cash flow management, banking relations, payment, and collection process optimization.
- Establish and optimize accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Participate in the development of IT systems, including migration to a new ERP.
- Analyze financial performance and propose strategic improvements.
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience in a similar role, with a previous experience in People Management.
- Mastery of accounting standards: BEGAAP, LUGAAP, IFRS.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- Extensive experience with SAP (FI-CO-MM).
- Proven ability to manage complex accounting projects.
- Professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
