**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience**:
- Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent Knowledge (5+ years of experience) of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Strong Data modelling experience (conceptual, logical and physical modelling)
- Good experience in data warehouse design (Kimball dimensional modeling and Data Vault)
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Strong Experience in visualization tool such as Microsoft Power BI and SSRS
- Agile experience (agile ceremonies, Kanban board)

**Desirable Qualifications/Experience**:
- Experience in Master data Management and Data quality Management
- Experience in TFS and Git
- Past experience in SSRS or PowerBI training

- Contribution to the governance of PowerBI, SSRS (standard layout, access rules)
**DUTIES/ROLE**
- Work in close relationship with ICT teams (mainly Project Leader, analyst and technical lead), other BI experts, the business and architects
- Be in regular contact with the Business with the analyst of the ICT team to understand business needs and propose the best technical solutions to meet those requirements
- Train/give support/advice to the business/ICT team to increase their expertise in the area of operational reporting
- E.g. Support Developper with SSRS report, Dax in PowerBI, give advice to the analyst to better capture report requirements, create inspiring visualisations that will serve as an example
- Encouraged to do propositions to enhance the best practice/governance in the area of operational reporting together with other BI experts and the architects
- Together with to the analyst conduct the interviews end business users to determine reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into technical specification and data model with appropriate technical documentation
- Work with data architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Propose improvement of existing BI systems to the architects
- Develop, manage, and update data models, including physical and logical models of the data
- warehouse and data marts
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions according to established standards (data processing, data warehouse, data marts)
- Create examples/inspirations of visualizations and reports and demo’s for requested projects in Power BI or SSRS
- Develop/propose solutions that will meet non-functional requirements (performance, data volume)
