**Technical Service Expert - EMEA**

**Location: Beerse, Belgium**

**Contract: Full Time**

**Johnson and Johnson, Janssen **has immediate opening for **Technical Service Expert - EMEA **which will be based in **Beerse, Belgium.**

Janssen PMP, a division of Janssen Pharmaceutica (Johnson & Johnson family of companies) is a world leader in the development and formulation of substances and end-use products for the protection of fresh produce, especially fruits and vegetables. With more than 50 years’ experience in Postharvest treatments and Plant Protection, Janssen PMP has developed technical and commercial expertise.

**Overall, Purpose of this Job**:
This Professional will be Responsible for the management of technical and customer support of the current and future Crop Management Product Portfolio in EMEA with a focus on physiological and natural/green products with a view to optimize the use of our products at customer and end-user level.

This is a position within the Sales & Marketing department and reports to the Technical Manager.

**The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have**:
**The main activities of the Technical Service Expert EMEA are the following**:

- Builds and maintains strong technical support relationships with all key accounts with the strive to support sales objectives through technical service to the customers and market.
- Works together with the Product Manager(s) and Sales Manager(s) to define product-market approaches to achieve sustainable use of the relevant product range in EMEA. Provides in this area of activity:

- direct field support.
- provides crucial input to produce effective marketing communication tools and materials including use manuals and recommendations by the Marketing Manager
- training of new and existing users to improve user efficiency.
- technical service and follow up at customer level before, during and after the season including data analysis and consolidation.
- product trials with customers and key opinion leaders including protocol definition, contract discussions, report evaluation and approval.
- Supports product launches and execution of promotional campaigns to build awareness in the geographical area of responsibility.
- Contributes to the Quality Assurance of the different FYSIUM® components and other products where vital.
- Supports handling of customer complaints and technical issues in collaboration with relevant Product Manager.
- Chips into development projects as a formal or informal team member with technical expertise and knowledge and customer and market feedback.

**Required**:

- Agriculture background with experience in crop protection business, preferably strong technical background within physiology and major fruit crops
- 2 or more years of experience in a technical-commercial function in the agriculture sector (post-harvest experience is a plus).
- Proficient in English is essential. Proficiency in Spanish and/or French and/or Italian is desirable.
- Loves to work in a hands-on environment with direct customer contact in an international B2B environment.
- Is well-organized, works independently and communicates easily with different internal and external collaborators.
- Is flexible, adventurous, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Location
- Belgium but regular presence in our office in Beerse (Belgium) is a must.
- Travel +/- 30%
