The Director of Network Services leads and is accountable for Network Services in the EMEA Region. This role will be accountable for the staff, operation, availability, reliability, technical performance, and financial performance of these services. The Director is responsible to ensure global network services are operating at a high level of performance and available during EMEA business hours and weekends as part of a global follow-the-sun support model. Additionally, this role will be the administrative leader for Network Services employees within the EMEA Region.

The Director will lead and be accountable for the $30m+ annual Global Network Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) program as well as Global Data Center Delivery. These large programs will include managing a team of employees and contractors to deliver services globally at JNJ business locations and Enterprise Data Centers. A critical aspect of this role is the lifecycle management and reporting of over 30,000 discrete network devices with the ability to produce drill-down reports and action plans based on site, operating company, business function, or device criticality, etc.

The employee organization reporting into this Director position total ~20+ employees, contractor positions and outsourced teams. The leader selected must have a strong technical background in network infrastructure, have a passion for continuous process improvement, root cause analysis, problem management, IT Service Management discipline, Project Delivery acumen, as well as inventory and configuration management. The leader will be expected to forge strong relationships with business partners in-region and will be responsible to meet business partners needs/requirements to ensure of successful business outcomes.

Leads and is accountable for regional Network Operations to ensure high availability and performance of the services. Ensures a very high level of consistency and standardization of the processes executed, adhering to all applicable Quality requirements and security set forth by the company. The Operations team is responsible for global operational issues during EMEA hours. Accountable for the performance of the external service providers, including Managed Services providers, telecommunications providers, hardware/ software maintenance providers, etc. Meets Operational targets of reducing Incident counts and MTTR. Generates new ideas to better operate and maintain the global network infrastructure and puts them into effect on a global level, working with peer groups.

Leads and is accountable for the Global TLM and Data Center Delivery programs. Ensures of Project Management and implementation excellence while avoiding negative impact to the JNJ IT environment. Accountable for the financial management, reporting and optimization of these programs. Strong oversight of the assigned Program/Project Managers, ensuring global alignment and accountability to deliver the programs with the desired outcomes. Accountable to deliver on the lifecycle management objectives of these programs while adhering to engineering standards, security requirements, and continuous improvement.
