**Short description**:
As Manager QHSE, you will be responsible for Euroports Belgium’s QHSE policies and processes. You will lead the QHSE team and ensure the implementation and follow-up of strategic QHSE policies in line with the Group Strategy.
**Accountabilities**:
1. Development and Follow-up of QHSE policies:
- Translate the Global QHSE Strategy into the Annual Action Plan in collaboration with the Managing Director, Management Team Belgium and the Group QHSE Director.
- Implement and monitor Group Level KPIs, supplemented by local KPIs.
- Initiating improvement proposals for business processes and promoting Safety, Quality and Environmental Awareness.
- Manage action lists and report progress, including QHSE projects.
2. Coordinate day-to-day QHSE work:
- Actively participate in accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis.
- Managing and coordinating permits, licences, approvals and certificates.
- Plan and conduct safety and operational audits.
- Support critical business projects and advise/revise purchases regarding safety and Compliancy.
3. Functions as point of contact for QHSE:
- Represent QHSE Belgium in meetings and be an active member of the CPBW.
- Cooperating with external prevention services and QHSE suppliers.
- Discuss preventive and corrective actions with insurance.
4. Managing the QHSE team:
- Managing utilisation and division of tasks within the team.
- Encourage collaboration, conflict management and implementation of changes.
- Responsible for HR tasks such as recruitment, onboarding and development policies of new team members.
- Encourage a healthy working environment and promote professional development and knowledge sharing.
5. Function as an ambassador of Euroports:
- Work in line with Euroports’ mission and values.
- Actively contribute to a good working climate for all internal and external employees.
- Identifying interesting topics for internal or external communication and stimulating participation in actions and events.

- Good knowledge of NL/ENG, supply chain and port operations, HSE & Process Quality Management, international standards.
**Education**:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience.
- Level 1 Prevention Advisor training or willingness to obtain Level 1.
