Function
Helicopter view, solution orientation & interpersonal savvy
You manage 4-5 strategic projects throughout their full lifecycle, keeping them on track versus budget, time and quality specifications.
- Project planning & follow through: You draft detailed project plans defining scope, goals and deliverables. You monitor project progress versus budget, time lines and quality requirements.
- Resource planning and management: You guide and manage your project engineering teams, the customer administrators, as well as external hardware subcontractors, enabling them to deliver against project specifications.
- Budget management: You control the financial status and mitigate risks of assigned projects. You provide monthly forecast of sales and cost control reports to internal management. You initiate and monitor invoicing.
- Project reporting : You provide periodic status reports to both internal management as well as to the customers.
- Customer communication & Client relationship: You maintain regular contact with your customers and act as an advisor. You facilitate project related communication. You take the lead in organizing project progress meetings with the customer and report back on conclusions to all involved stakeholders.
- Quotation support: You take an active part in the quotation process, supporting Sales by means of technical feasibility or organizational studies and by presenting/highlighting the Emersion engineering project capabilities and differentiators.
- Capability building: You play a senior role in the project management organization by coaching more junior project managers and working together with the Director projects and Services or organizational and efficiency improvements.
Profile
- You have an engineering degree in a technical direction, with minimum 5 years of experience in a project management role.
- Acquaintance with the life sciences industry is an asset.
- You fluently speak English, Dutch and French.
- You have good communication, organizational, planning and negotiation skills.
- You are capable of managing and overviewing several parallel projects.
- You come with proven leadership capabilities (steering & coaching of internal and external resources).
- You easily deal with high performance and expectations pressure.
- You show analytical strength and demonstrate business and financial acumen.
