Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with offices close to a main railway station.

**Functieomschrijving**:
You will join our client’s CISO Solutions and Services team and you will take the technical leadership within this team:

- You will supervise the CSIRT Cyber Security Engineers : you will evaluate their technical decisions and you will follow-up their containment, remediation and recovery actions;
- You will take the lead in the technical investigation and you will set out the right countermeasures to get the situation under control as quickly and adequate as possible;
- You will align with direct peers in the CISO S&S team and the security services providers and drive the roadmap and implementation of CSIRT enhancements and new services within our client’s organization;
- You will help the BUILD team to drive the roadmap that has been set out, you will ensure this roadmap is kept aligned with new evolutions seen in the market, and you will explain intensions and progress to your reporting managers;
- You will make sure the team is aligned with your direct peers and you will represent the CSIRT BUILD and RUN activities to them;
- You will ensure that the overall team is kept up-to-date about CSIRT and the CISO S&S portfolio is aligned.

**Vereiste ervaring**:

- You have **at least a Bachelor degree (preferably in ICT) or you are equivalent by relevant professional experience**;
- You have **at least 5 years of relevant experience in people management and incident handling**;
- You are able to analyze processes and to propose improvements;
- You are capable to solve complex technical incidents or to coordinate other technical profiles to address those problems as a team;
- You have **profound knowledge of networking and security protocols** such as TCP, UDP, VPN, VLAN, BGP,;
- You are used to work with security solutions such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, proxy, mail-relays, FW-rulebases, end-point anti-virus configurations,;
- You have experience with different **red teaming **techniques;
- You are customer focused and you are able to handle in an organization-sensitive way;
- You own a record of responsibility;
- **You’re fluent in Dutch or French, you have at least basic knowledge of both Dutch and French, you’re fluent in English**.
