Headline is looking for a Researcher-Producer to support international TV correspondents in Brussels in the preparation of reportages and news coverage. As a Researcher-Producer, you will assist our clients (foreign journalists) in carrying out their tasks. Your work includes organizing interviews, fact-checking, translating, summarising press conferences, travel preparations, making call sheets, managing accreditations, etc. Our clients are often in-house and come from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, among others. You will therefore work in an international environment where language skills are a must. Knowledge of the European institutions and keeping up with current affairs is essential here, as many of our clients are based in Brussels as Europe correspondents for their channel.

**Tasks**:

- Organising interviews
- Preparing and overseeing call sheets for camera operators and journalists
- Fact-checking
- Translating (for example interviews and press conferences)
- Assisting editorial staff at European summits
- Occasionally carrying out interviews
- Building your own network
- Making travel arrangements
- Managing accreditations

Jouw profiel

Your profile:

- Diploma in higher education: Journalism, History, Political Science, International Relations, Economics or similar
- Interest in journalism for the television medium
- Language skills: knowledge of Dutch, English and French are a requirement. Additional languages are a plus
- Good knowledge of the European institutions and understanding of European political current affairs
- Stress-resistant and able to cope with deadlines
- Flexible and friendly
