Het bedrijf werd in 1995 opgericht door een zeer getalenteerde Maître Patissier. Begin 2019 werd het bedrijf overgenomen door het huidige management en verder geprofessionaliseerd. De hoge kwaliteit en smaak van de producten zijn een absolute troef voor het bedrijf. Het team, de moderne en sterk geautomatiseerde site en tenslotte de internationale vertakkingen, maken dat Meco Ingredients fors groeit en een stevige ambitie heeft._
- Momenteel zoeken wij voor hen een: Manager Operations_
**Functie**:
- Als manager operations stuur je het operationsteam aan, organiseer je de productie en waak je over de productiviteit.
- Je bent een hands-on teamplayer en weet je medewerkers (4) permanent te helpen groeien, te motiveren en hun engagement te versterken.
- Je bewaakt en verbetert voortdurend de hoogste standaarden rond veiligheid en kwaliteit (BRC-certificatie, FAVV-normen en HACCP) i.s.m. de senior quality manager.
- De aankoop en opvolging van de grondstoffen doe je samen met de eigenaar.
- Je denkt en werkt mee aan strategische projecten die de groei van de onderneming faciliteren.
**Functie eisen**:
- Je hebt een hoger diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Een bakkerijopleiding (vb. PIVA) of een passie voor bakken is een sterke troef.
- Je bent technisch aangelegd en hebt een sterke affiniteit met de werking van machines.
- Je hebt reeds een eerste ervaring als productieleider in de voedingsindustrie, bij voorkeur in een (semi-)industriële bakkerij.
- Werken met een ERP systeem en productie-gerelateerde data is jou niet vreemd.
- Je bent operationeel ingesteld en rolt zelf de mouwen op waar nodig.
- Een sterke hands-on mentaliteit, die een klein en gedreven team weet te ondersteunen, is jou eigen.
- Je beschikt over een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.
