To enforce our team, we are looking for an experienced Risk and Internal Audit Manager who will lead the Risk and Audit function for our entire company._
**Your role**:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and procedures, audit frameworks and an audit universe resulting in a clear audit planning and approach;
- Conduct risk assessments, evaluating governance, risk management and control processes - in line with the designed risk approach and audit planning;
- Where relevant, collaborate with external audit consultants;
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the risk management strategies and procedures, give input to the audit committee and the board, provide recommendations to improve controls and processes;
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Your profile**:
- A relevant Master’s degree;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in audit and risk management, preferably in the renewable energy sector;
- Strong understanding of audit and risk management best practices, methodologies, tools, and techniques;
- Experience in implementing these approaches and structures within a start-up/growing company context;
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on English, Dutch, and French;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
