Chemical Laboratory Technician

Overview:
**KEMIN ANIMAL NUTRITION AND HEALTH - EMENA** is searching for a
**Chemical Laboratory Technician** to become part of the
**CLS ( Customer Laboratory services) Team located in Herentals Belgium**. As Chemical Laboratory Technician you work at the interface between the lab and our Sales force. You will play an active role in supporting our customers with our lab services.

**Responsibilities**:
As
**Chemical Laboratory Technician** your main role will include
** the execution and reporting of results** from established chemical, biochemical and microbiological analyses. Furthermore, you will have an active role in the
**development of new services for our customers.**

You will have a variety of task such as:

- Responsible for performing routine problem solving, preliminary data analysis and accurately checking large amounts of data.
- Execution of different scientific techniques including chromatography (LC-MS and GC-MS), enzymology, titration, microbiology, analytical chemistry....
- writing technical reports
- ** Assist in the correct execution of laboratory requests**:

- Assist with method development, method validation, and formulation, as applicable
- ** Research into specific scientific areas** that help to **further develop new services that are valuable for our customer**s
- ** Maintain good laboratory practices** in recording data, CLS database, files and log books
- Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on assigned lab equipment. Contribute to good working conditions for the laboratory.
- Assist with field trials, as needed

Qualifications:
Are you a
**Bachelor Chemistry or Biotechnology** looking for a

- Bachelor Chemistry - biotechnology
- Good communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in descriptive statistics.
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge and experience. Intermediate skills with Excel including ability to use simple formulas and generate graphs.
- Good laboratory skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
