**Telenet is looking for an Application Expert**

Telenet is the leading Telco provider in Flanders with a portfolio of 3M clients in internet, telephone, mobile and digital television.

The company is organized in an agile lay-out with major units (called “tribes”), composed of “squads”.

**Working in the Product Journey Tribe**:
This function is situated in the Product Journey Tribe which includes the tooling for network design, product activation (OSS), customer appointment planning, location intelligence (GIS), logical inventory support, network monitoring and representation as well as product journey design.

Within our WFM squads, we focus on the appointment journey for our customer's in-home services and on maintaining the network quality. In collaboration with our partners, we deliver solutions to provision and activate services by the technicians. We collaborate closely with architects, business and process analysts to design reliable and scalable solutions.

As an Application Expert you are part of the squad and will be working on larger initiatives.

**Your tasks as an Application Expert**:

- Critically translates business needs or questions into functional and non-functional requirements using “use cases” and “user stories” for projects and/or “change requests”. Challenges requirements and ensures that important requirements are not missed.
Ensures that the required requirements lead to generic, sustainable, future-oriented, maintainable and user-friendly IT solutions.
Works closely with the software architects, developers and testers in such a way that the scope is preserved and that the functionalities are tested and deliver customer value.
- Acts as a “bridging figure” and coordinates well with the business and technical stakeholders (internal or external), keeping the end-to-end solution in mind.
Where applicable, also works together well with, manages and/or coaches the “on-” and “offshore” vendors/contractors.
- Assesses and validates the required capacity/effort as an input to facilitate informed decisions.

**Our ideal Application Expert**:

- You have a master's degree or bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an IT environment, preferably you have been working in a telco or utility company. You have experience in analyzing and designing information systems.
- You work in a structured manner. You have a keen eye for detail without losing the overview.
- You have strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking and realism. You are pragmatic. You question ideas and critically weigh different options.
- You can work autonomously. You are proactive and spontaneously ask for help.
- You are a teamplayer, but you also dare to take ultimate responsibility.
- You take ownership of your tasks and are able to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- You are a strong communicator and can adapt your language according to the interlocutor.
- Knowledge of telecom products or experience within a telco environment is a plus.
- You have an excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You like to work in an agile team (scrum). Analysts, developers and testers work as one team and support each other.
