For one of our clients, we are actively looking for a Senior Accountant in Brussels.

**Role**:

- Prepare financial statements and accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
- Analyze and manage intercompany transactions.
- Oversee monthly closing and reconciliation processes using SAP.
- Prepare for end-of-year closing.
- Ensure quality and continuous improvement in accounting processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team at HQ in Germany.
- Conduct preventive quality controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable processes.
- Coordinate and support the annual audit process.
- Ensure tax compliance and timely reporting.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes.
- Manage cash flow and cash management activities.

**Profile**:

- Prior experience as an Accountant within an international group
- Understanding of BE GAAP and IFRS (not a must but a plus)
- Proficiency in English and French or Dutch
- You are good with numbers and analytical and possess synthesizing skills
- You have a strong desire to learn and grow professionally as an Accountant/General Ledger
