As an **IT Industrial Lead**, you will lead part of the of **IT Industrial Engineers, experts and project teams**, by supporting, coaching and mentoring them. In this role you will envision the future of industrial infrastructure, partner with stakeholders to run and implement technical solutions, lead technical projects and with your practical knowledge you’re able to take technical decisions. Next to this you will prepare and execute the IT transformation of our industrial landscape and be a referent and leader during the journey through industry 4.0. In this role there is opportunity/space to further grow and develop yourself.
**Mission context**:
- Lead part of a great team of IT Industrial Engineers and expert
- Create impact by driving technical direction for the design, migration, development, and system integration from definition through implementation up to go live.
- Explore and implement new technologies
**Your mission**:
- Manage budgets to deliver project and industrial infrastructure.
- Solution advisory, Solution Engineering, and design (developing and realizing a long-term view from vision to tactical technical solutions for the IT landscape in scope).
- Formulate rules, principles, and guidelines to drive the development of technical solutions and monitor adherence.
- Survey market landscape for latest trends, solution insights, vendors, and methods.
- Solution development and delivery (Across teams, clients, partners, and the IT industry).
- Suggest alternative tactics or solutions to meet desired and reusable outcome.
- Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Keep infrastructure coordinators and project managers well informed of the status of development effort.
- Responsible for Development and Platform lifecycle.
- Manage technical resources.
**Your Profile**:
- Several years of experience in an IT Infrastructure role within a large and complex environment.
- Relevant years of system engineering, infrastructure architecture or pertinent experiences.
- Experience in cybersecurity and/or network is nice to have.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of all Datacenter/Clouds platform and technologies.
- Good understanding on how manufacturing, laboratory, and industry work.
- Ability to lead a technical team of external consultants.
- Curious and passionate about how different pieces fit together into a coherent solution.
- Knowledge of IT service management, knowledge of project management framework and processes (PMI, ITIL, PRINCE ).
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and French. Dutch is an advantage to have.
