**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a global regulatory and public affairs strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans, that includes, government affairs and public relations.
- Lead government lobbying efforts to advocate for favorable regulatory environments that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to influence policy decisions.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions, hearings, and inquiries, articulating the company’s positions and concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand regulatory requirements, provide guidance and insights on the impact of regulatory changes, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Create and manage public affairs campaigns to increase awareness regarding the company’s business
- Coordinate crisis management efforts with the legal department, navigating reputational challenges and mitigating risks to the company.
- Stay updated on global regulatory trends, assessing their impact on the company, and recommending proactive measures.
- Provide strategic counsel to company leadership on regulatory matters, anticipating potential challenges and proposing proactive solutions.
- Hire and manage outside advisors as needed in a cost-effective manner in consultation with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage direct reports, as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, or related roles within the telecommunications or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance in a global context.
- Extensive experience in government lobbying activities.
**Technical Skills**:
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks in the telecommunications, infrastructure and real estate industries.
- Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and interpretation of complex regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of government relations and lobbying strategies.
**Soft Skills**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to navigate regulatory challenges and corporate affairs issues.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and corporate social responsibility.
