**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the tax compliance activities for direct and indirect taxes in Belgium and provide insight and advice regarding all tax matters (corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT,) of the business.
- Ensure the timely submission of all tax filing requirements. In collaboration with accounting colleagues, you improve on a permanent basis the internal procedures for collecting and preparing information that serves as a basis for the preparation of the tax return and other official documents.
- Keep up to date of changes in the legislative framework and translate them correctly to the business and existing internal procedures. Assist the business in implementing these legislative changes.
- Maintain good relationships with external tax advisors and local tax authorities to ensure the highest quality service.
- Raise awareness of tax related matters within the business and conduct trainings when needed.
- Participate and assist in tax audits and carry out internal checks to ensure the accuracy of tax data.
- Assist in the implementation of business projects.
- Ensure proper transaction flows are being documented and implemented across the group and kept up-to-date.
- Contribute to the continued implementation and improvement of the global tax strategy.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor or Master in Tax or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a tax environment (in-house or consulting firm). Experience in transfer pricing matters is a plus.
- Good trilingual NL/FR and ENG.
- Knowledge of SAP is a real plus. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is a must.
- Knowledge of BEGAAP required. IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Well-developed communication skills with all stakeholders (internal and external).
- Excellent planning and organization skills; adherence to deadlines and prioritization with the ability to multi-task.
