Our client is a **logistics and distribution company** with their headquarters located in the **North of Antwerp**.

**Your key objectives will include**:

- Collaborating in the development and maintenance of financial control within Chemical Distribution in Brazil, effectively bridging finance with business operations.
- Creating analysis and insightful commentary for the monthly executive reporting package, shedding light on group performance in your region.
- Collaborating closely with the global reporting team to craft more comprehensive reports and analysis that aid business management, both locally and globally.
- Assisting business management in defining and structuring essential key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business segments, with a focus on monitoring KPI evolution.
- Providing ad-hoc analysis concerning critical trends and variances to support high-level decision-making.
- Strengthening and overseeing the global planning and budgeting cycle.
- Managing and aiding in ad-hoc projects encompassing a wide range of topics within your scope, such as financing, taxes, IFRS, and M&A for your region.
- Supporting the local team in implementing robust internal controls aligned with group best practices.

**The requested qualifications for this job include**:

- A master's degree in Economics, Commercial Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive experience in business and financial controlling, preferably within a multinational or consulting environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional ability to communicate effectively.
- Profound analytical capabilities and the skill to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- A grasp of key financial concepts, including working capital, inventory valuation, foreign exchange exposure/impact, hedging, and capital employed.
- A keen business acumen with the capacity to comprehend value drivers within a global trading and distribution company. Familiarity with trading, logistics, and distribution activities is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build fruitful relationships across all levels.
- Resilience to stress, punctuality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- A proactive and ambitious mindset, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive can-do attitude.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is a must. Knowledge of Spanish or Dutch is advantageous.
- A willingness to travel up to 25% of your time.
- Proficiency in Excel, with Power Pivot and BI skills considered an advantage.
- Residing in the Antwerp region or planning to relocate.
