**Purchasing manager**

**Your responsibilities**:
- Create and/or further build our long term supplier relationships for finished product suppliers. This includes visiting our Chinese suppliers a few times a year.
- Negotiate the best possible prices, lead-times and mínimal order quantities.
- Place our purchase orders in a timely matter and follow up on the execution of the productions.
- Follow up on material management for raw materials.
- Pro-actively coordinate capacity management with the suppliers to avoid delays.
- Ensure our suppliers adhere to our quality and compliance standards and further develop these standards.
- Search for new suppliers for new products or product categories.
**Your skills & experiences**:
- You have at least a few years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in consumer goods or the fashion industry.
- You are highly organized with strong analytical skills and are able to follow up multiple complex processes meticulously.
- You are proactive and take initiative to continuously improve the way of working.
- You can roll up your sleeves and get stuff done, pulling together the right people and coordinating tasks.
- You have strong English written and verbal skills.
- You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced fashion SME environment.
- You are flexible and are eager to learn.
