Kennedys is seeking an "Avocat/Advocaat" to join its litigation, insurance, regulatory and commercial practice in Brussels.

**Team**

Our team in Brussels notably works on complex litigation (including international arbitrations), insurance disputes and coverage questions and regulatory issues. The Brussels office's expertise in insurance, commercial, aviation and transportation matters is recognized in Belgium and globally.

**Required experience**
- At least 1 year professional experience, in particular insurance litigation and expert proceedings, commercial matters and regulatory issues.*
- Belgium Qualified Avocat/Advocaat, able to plead before the Belgium courts.
- Strong Academics.

**Desirable**
- Arbitration experience
- Experience in the insurance and/or aviation and transportation sectors
- To have had previous client contact and attendance at business development events.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken, writing and speaking). Command of French is desirable.
- Legal research and drafting skills.
- To be proactive and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills.
- Strong technical and research skills.
- Attention to detail.
