ARHS Developments is looking for an experienced ABAP Developer for one of its clients at the EU Institutions.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Technical Analysis. Technical design. Effort estimations.
- Testing (unit testing and integration testing)
- Drafting technical documentation.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, diagnosis of programs and web services.
- SAP customizing of complex technical solutions.
- Programming ABAP reports, web service interfaces, OData services, enhancements, and other ABAP programs.
- Translating functional requirements into technical specifications, performing technical analysis, and designing technical solutions.
- Estimating effort required for various tasks.
- Conducting unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality of the developed solutions.
- Drafting technical documentation to provide clear understanding of the developed solutions.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnosing programs and web services.
- Customizing SAP to implement complex technical solutions.

**Qualifications** Your Profile**
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience in testing methodologies and drafting technical documentation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnosing programs and web services.
- Able to work co-operatively with others in teams and across organizational boundaries.
- Able to organize your own workload efficiently.
- Personal responsibility and initiative for delivering work to a high standard of quality within procedures.

**Technical Skills**
- At least 5 years’ experience in programming ABAP reports, web service interfaces, and other ABAP programs.
- Proficient in ABAP and ABAP OO.
- Experience with SAP MM and SD modules.
- Experience with web services (REST and SOAP). Experience developing OData services would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of software development with methodologies: Agile (or SAP Activate), Waterfall (ASAP, PMI or similar)
- Experience in SAP customizing of complex technical solutions.
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing methodologies.
- Experience in drafting technical documentation.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnosing programs and web services.
