**Introduction**

Within **Finance Business Advice** (FBA) we are looking for a financial advisor to strengthen our team. The team is perfectly situated to financially navigate the business through a rapidly changing banking environment with rising interest rates, high inflation, and a challenging geopolitical environment. **Role & work environment**

Within Finance Business Advice, the teams are the cornerstone for financial insights and advice for the full organization. ING provides a wide range of financial services and products to support our clients as private individuals and as businesses, which range from Daily Banking, Investment and Mortgages for private individuals to business lending for mid-corporates and complex financial structures for listed companies.

You will join a dynamic team that provides regular reporting and strategic advice to senior management, while also maintaining relationships with various other internal stakeholders. Your role will be to actively engage with the respective products
- and sector leads on what the business environment means financially and how they can act accordingly. You will be their financial compass This will put you in the driving seat for the forecasting process and for providing ad-hoc analysis.

**Key responsibilities**

**Provide financial result presentations, analyses and advice to relevant stakeholders**
- Ensure high quality, first time right deliverables
- Actively develop relationships with the business and act as a trusted advisor by supporting the business/ product leads with strategic analysis to steer the business
- Proactively look for ways to improve the content and format, keeping it relevant in the current fast-changing environment

**Be involved in the overall budgeting and forecasting process**
- Be responsible for providing accurate forward looking financial plans
- Play a strong role in challenging and aligning with stakeholders on financial developments

**Play an active role in the FBA department**
- Work on overarching projects which cover the full bank (e.g., cost allocation)
- Actively work and think along in the team to look for possible efficiencies in our processes and to improve business relevant insights

**As a Finance Business Advisor, you will also need**:

- A master's degree in economics, finance or equivalent
- An analytical mind and intellectual curiosity that you combine with a sincere interest in banking and market developments
- A proactive and autonomous attitude that translates into flexibility when deadlines are due
- 3-5 years’ experience in a (business) control or management accounting position is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Experience in translating data analysis into sound advice that you’ll be able to combine with providing independent strategic advice to senior management
