Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Inventory Asset Data Migration

**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- A minimum of 4 years current, detailed and relevant knowledge and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (or higher);
- Experience with:

- The translation of specific accounting rules into dedicated SLA setup;
- The introduction of those technical objects into SLA rules;
- The review of business procedures and functional setup;
- Experience in:

- Preparing, running and documenting unit tests, system tests and user acceptance tests;
- Writing detailed functional design documents based on new or changed business requirements;
- Working in a team that delivers a highly available service;
- Excellent knowledge of the main Oracle EBS Logistics API's/ Open Interfaces that are available for migration of (Item) Master data, migration of Inventory transactional data (Asset stock levels) and import of procurement requests;
- Strong knowledge of Item Codification Fundamentals in Oracle Inventory;
- Good knowledge of Inventory Organization structure Fundamentals;
- Basic MS SQL Server and SQL*Plus Server knowledge;
- Knowledgeable with the execution of the different subledger SLA create accounting programs and the interpretation of the outcome and the transfer into GL;
- Strong understanding of the integration of Purchasing, Inventory & Order Management with Accounts Payable and Financials, including Fixed assets;
- Excellent understanding of:

- Oracle Purchasing, Inventory & Order Management;
- Oracle Internal Requisitioning process;
- Good understanding of:

- Sufficient knowledgeable in PL/SQL to define/design procedures/functions for technical retrieving of subledger elements as required;
- Understanding of:

- The hierarchical structure of the SLA model;
- Flexfields configuration;
- Standard open interfaces;
- Internal controls, including but not limited to user access, responsibilities, security rules, report groups, profile options;
- Basic understanding of the data model for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (or higher);
- Ability to:

- Handle issues of all E-Business Suite modules in area of responsibility including System Administrator from setup to functional reporting;
- Work under pressure, on own initiative and without constant supervision, to strict and tight deadlines;
- Be competent in documenting work done;
- Familiarity with configuration management / versioning procedures and tools;
- Being good team player and a good communicator;
- English proficiency level: SLP 3333 according to STANAG 6001.

**Desirable**:

- Good understanding of:

- Enterprise Asset Management(EAM) with Oracle Install Base;
- The integration of Oracle EAM with Oracle Inventory and Oracle Purchasing;
- The integration with Financials, Including Fixed Assets;
- Basic understanding of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI).

**Duties/role**:

- Providing:

- Guidance and support for the migration of asset data from several source systems into an existing Oracle EBS 12.2 configuration;
- Guidance for the (technical) migration approach;
- Supporting:

- For the data mapping between Oracle EBS and different source systems, taking into account the specific requirements driven by the current (and future) Asset Logistics Business processes and supporting Oracle Configuration;
- The necessary test cycles and actual execution of the data migration.
