Our **multidisciplinary team of experts** offer strategic, technical, and regulatory advice in all fields related to power transmission, as well as a range of specialist solutions to a diverse and international client base in the power sector.
Elia Grid International has offices in Belgium, Germany, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA), Malaysia, and Thailand.
**Your function**
EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on **Regulation and Markets** to support international clients navigate the complex environment they operate in. To achieve this, we are looking for a **motivated intern/working student** to support the team by** **developing product and delivering international regulatory and markets' related projects**.
Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):
- Literature and market research about national and international power systems and power markets;
- Perform data and document analysis and summarize in conclusions;
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, pitches, and reports;
- Support on business development activities such as tender preparation and proposal drafting;
- Following on the latest evolutions in the power sector and its infrastructure, including upcoming opportunities, such as grid and market integration of renewables, hydrogen, PtX, and energy storage systems.
**Your profile**
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or the end of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, energy economics or law;
- Motivated quick-learning team player with high analytical and transversal abilities;
- Good understanding of the power market and the energy transition;
- Basic understanding of the market and regulatory framework of the power sector;
- Interest in solving problems and taking on new challenges;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of Arabic, German, and/or French is a strong asset.
