EK Global is looking for a full-time Technical Analyst to join our growing Knowledge Management Strategy and Design Practice with an initial 8-month overseas assignment in the Gulf Region. This individual will be working on-site at the client's office, working alongside a small team while in-country. Further, this individual will help bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members, while collaboratively working with cross-functional teams, making interpersonal communication an important skill set to have. This individual should be a self-starter, conscientious, naturally curious, and eager to improve their craft.

As a Technical Analyst, to be successful, you’ll also need an understanding of:

- Business Strategy and Analysis
- Software Development Life Cycle
- Software Analysis, Design, and Implementation

EK Global and Enterprise Knowledge (EK) will design, develop, deploy, and maintain a state-of-the-art KM Portal for our Gulf Region client’s enterprise business needs over the course of an 18-month engagement. The KM Portal is an enterprise information portal that will transform the way the client works by improving the findability and discoverability of the client’s knowledge and information across its key content repositories. The KM Portal will include the following technologies:

- Content Management System;
- Enterprise Search Engine;
- Graph Database;
- Metadata Store;
- Taxonomy/Ontology Manager; and
- Data Catalog.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Experience serving as a technical analyst, systems analyst, systems engineer, developer, data engineer, or similar technical discipline in current or prior role(s).
- Comfort with serving in a client-facing role and presenting on camera or in-person to internal and external stakeholders.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new skills and abilities on-the-job.
- Strong ability to rapidly learn the functionalities and capabilities of software solutions (i.e., Content Management Systems, Search Engines, etc.) and be able to clearly articulate your findings (verbally, orally, and written) to help colleagues and clients understand their purpose, value, and how to use them.
- Comfort with navigating ambiguity and client needs that rapidly evolve on a weekly basis.
- Aptitude to solve complex problems with a diverse team and not being afraid to ask for help.
- Comfort with trying new things, making mistakes, and learning from mistakes.
- Comfort with moving at a fast pace, tracking and managing priorities, and quickly responding to needs.
- Consistent and proven experience to perform multiple job roles on different initiatives at the same time while handling various complex tasks and delivering on a strict deadline.
- Understanding of computational logic and programming basics, as they relate to technology solutions.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree (either BA or BS), with coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working closely with a development team.
- Experience designing, implementing, executing, and iterating technical strategies for on-premise and/or cloud solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple international time zones.
- In-depth understanding of content management systems, semantic technology, search engine, customer relationship management, and collaboration platforms with ability to articulate their strengths and weaknesses to technical and non-technical users.
- Experience with the full SDLC and relevant tools and technologies.
- Experience interacting with executives and presenting polished material to C-Suite level staff.
- Technical-related certifications (ECM, CSPO, DMCP, etc).
- Previous experience presenting as an expert at trade shows or conferences.
- Previous experience with Knowledge Management and/or Data and Information Management.
- Experience working with custom API development and integration configuration to facilitate the connection of different software platforms.
