THE SCOPE
With 30 years of history, today Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in both land-based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation is accompanied by a diversification and specialization of positions, with the creation of new cutting-edge jobs. In response to its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Legal Student to join its Corporate & HR Support team in the Legal Department, as part of a fixed-term student contract (between 1 and 3 months, starting in July, with the possibility of coming in from September for 1 or 2 days a week).
YOUR ROLE
Within the Corporate & HR Support team, the Legal Student will have the tasks of:
- Communicating information on Group companies (shareholdings, mandates, ECB information, activities, UBOs,....) to the various Group departments and to contacts and suppliers in Belgium and abroad;
- Updating the information relating to the shareholding and administration of the Group's companies in the various dedicated tools (Excel spreadsheets, organization charts, etc.) as well as the follow-up of related deadlines (e.g. renewal of mandates).
- Carrying out all the procedures related to the UBOs (beneficial owners of legal entities under the AML legislation and banking regulations), including updating the UBO’s registers with FPS Finances and the preparation of the forms requested by the banks and various administrations.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the legal secretariat of the Group's Belgian and international companies. For example, by participating in the creation of legal documents (proxies, form CBEs, minutes, etc.) or by providing administrative assistance to the team’s lawyers regarding company documents (notarial deeds, agreements, etc.).
- Being responsible for the correct completion of the forms to be filled in for the company (information relating to the activity and identity of the company and various legal information to be completed within the forms).
- Being in charge of various publications in the Belgian Official Gazette and other communications to the CBE.

YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s student in Law, the double Master HEC/Law is a plus;
- Team spirit and solidarity
- Organized, thorough and methodical, independent and pragmatic
- Stress management and sense of priority
- Good knowledge of English (B2), knowledge of other languages, including Dutch and Spanish, is a plus
