Life Sciences is een van de 3 kernfranchises van KBC Securities met toegewijde teamleden binnen onze organisatie, gaande van Corporate Finance tot Institutional Sales. Wij zijn op zoek naar een Associate Director [of Director] om de ontwikkeling van onze life sciences franchise te versnellen en onze capaciteiten te versterken.

**Wat verwachten we van jou?**:
Wij bieden een functie die vrijwel onmiddellijk een hoge mate van verantwoordelijkheid met zich meebrengt. Een Associate Director [of Director] zal bijdragen aan de sourcing van op maat gemaakte corporate finance oplossingen voor onze corporate en investeerders klanten binnen de life sciences en gezondheidszorg ruimte.
Je richt je op het sourcen van nieuwe transacties en het zorgen voor een effectieve uitvoering van deals. Dit houdt meestal in dat je ontmoetingen hebt met CEO's, CFO's en corporate development executives van publieke en private life sciences bedrijven, life sciences VC- en PE-fondsen en andere stakeholders.
Je wordt lid van het dynamische corporate finance-team, waardoor je in aanraking komt met een verscheidenheid aan capaciteiten/ervaringen binnen het team, in verschillende sectoren, producten en regio's. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega's binnen corporate finance als onderdeel van een deal team, maar ook met je collega's binnen het sales en research team gericht op life sciences.
Je belangrijkste taken zullen zijn:
- Zorgen voor sectordekking door relaties op te bouwen met private en publieke bedrijven, investeerders en andere stakeholders
- Deelnemen aan deal sourcing door actief de markt te scouten en door presentaties voor te bereiden en te geven
- Een sleutelrol spelen bij de uitvoering van life sciences deals, waaronder het onderhandelen over de belangrijkste voorwaarden van een transactie, het beheren van het transactieproces, het voorbereiden van materiaal, het uitvoeren van strategische en financiële analyses en het uitvoeren van waarderingsoefeningen
- meewerken aan de communicatie en merkopbouw van de life sciences franchise, door op te treden als opinieleider van het life sciences franchiseteam van KBC Securities
**Jouw troeven?**:
De ideale kandidaat combineert een sterke wetenschappelijke achtergrond met financiële ervaring. Ervaring met transacties in een investment banking-omgeving of bij een private-equity
- of life sciences-fonds is een sterke troef.
- Je hebt een wetenschappelijke achtergrond (professionele ervaring, academische achtergrond...) gecombineerd met financiële ervaring (bij een bank, big-4 of boutique of bij een durfkapitalist of een private equity investeerder)
- Je hebt zeer goede commerciële vaardigheden en je bent in staat om sterke vertrouwensrelaties op te bouwen, zowel intern als extern
- Je beschikt over sterke analytische en technische vaardigheden
- Je bent een teamspeler en hebt goede interpersoonlijke vaardigheden
- Je bent ambitieus, gedreven en in staat om resultaten te leveren terwijl je werkt onder strakke deadlines
- Je bent ruimdenkend, autonoom, in staat om te anticiperen en te multi-tasken en u bent responsief
