We are looking for a new **Medical Information Manager** to join our Belgium team. In this challenging role you will be responsible for internal and external medical information.

You will be answering unsolicited inquiries from physicians and other external requestors, based on available scientific sources. By always being up to date with the latest relevant legislation and scientific information, you will ensure that customer-facing materials are compliant with the legislation and the product information. Furthermore, you will support the Pharmacovigilance (PV) department. Being part of a cross-functional team will lead you to participate or lead projects relevant to our different specialties.

**This position is located in Brussels, and you will report directly to the Head of Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, HealthCare Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.**

**FURTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**You will provide medical information to external customers**:
- Act as first contact person for all medical questions and provide customer-centric medical information-
- Answer unsolicited inquiries related to all marketed products-
- Collaboration with the Medical & Regulatory teams (local and international)-
- Responsible for filing & management of inquiries via the internal reporting system-
- Review medical information inquiries for relevant trends to report to higher (regional) management-
- Gather, assemble, manage and communicate knowledge and expertise on the company's medicinal products-
- Support the medical affairs department with the creation of training and general slide kits**You will review customer-facing materials**:
- Responsible for the compliance of materials before the final approval by the Responsible person for Information and Promotion: Advise cross-functional teams to create and review customer-facing materials according to legislation and the product information-
- Train colleagues about requirements related to (non) promotional materials for external communications**You will assist the Pharmacovigilance department**:
- Act as Deputy Pharmacovigilance Officer-
- Register adverse events cases received from internal or external stakeholders in the pharmacovigilance systems, according to timelines-
- Follow up on reported cases as appropriate-
- Understand concepts and processes of drug safety**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**:
**Academic Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Doctor or similar**RIP certificate is highly desired**- Experience in a similar role is an asset-
**Excellent command of the Dutch and ideally you are fluent in French**- Good command of the English language-
- Customer-focused with high ethical standards-
- Positive can-do attitude, looking for solutions-
- Capability of working with many assignments at the same time without losing overview-
- Eye for detail, meticulous and timely-
