Our client is a creative live-communication agency active in Belgium, the Netherlands, and France

The **main accountabilities** for this job include:

- Manage accounting for multiple countries, with support from local finance assistants
- Lead monthly and yearly financial closing
- Consolidate financial information from different entities
- Provide monthly financial reports
- Act as contact person for auditors in different countries
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
- Prepare monthly VAT declarations and other tax duties
- Challenge costs and propose optimization for improved profitability
- Prepare budget for Belgian entity and analyze variances
- Manage fleet and insurance

The requested qualifications for this job include:

- Master's degree in business administration, economics or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in similar role
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to form strong relationships
- Accurate and takes ownership
- Digitally-minded
- Proficient with financial software and dashboarding tools
- Professional and exercises good judgement, discretion and diplomacy when required
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French, German or Spanish is a plus
- Experience in international environment is a plus
