**Core Responsibilities**:
- Support in vivo studies (infection, blood collection, dosing, weighing of animals,) in a BSL3 lab with rodents (specifically hamsters and mice);
- Handling of ex vivo samples;
- Demonstrate ownership of own tasks to meet required deliverables;
- Report obtained data in electronic lab book and client databases to departmental and patent-acceptable quality standards;
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
**Job Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
- Experience working with laboratory mice and/or hamsters is preferred;
- Hands-on experience with handling ex vivo samples is a plus;
- Flexible mindset and ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities;
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain communication across functional groups;
- Good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
