PURPOSE

As the Trade Marketing Manager for Pernod Ricard Belux, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive sales and brand visibility across retail, convenience, and liquor store channels. Your primary focus will be to optimize brand presence, promotions, and activations to achieve sales targets and enhance brand equity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SHOPPER MARKETING
- Translate brand strategy into Sales and Trade Marketing tactics by Key customer.
- Planning, development, execution, and evaluation of shopper moment activations
- Liaison between Sales and Marketing for all shopper activities.
- Collaborate with other team member to unlock cross channel opportunities & economy of scale.
- Responsible for the commercial calendar and updating and following it up.
- Monitoring and follow-up of the Trade Marketing Promotion Process.

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
- Implementing Category Management projects or components such as assortment policy, planogram advice, etc.
- Develop and implement the Category Management process, including identifying missing business data and project management.
- Conducting promotional analysis (in collaboration with the Business Analyst) and suggesting points for improvement.

ANALYZES
- Data Analysis & Market translation on various sources (Nielsen, IRI ) to trace opportunities and areas for improvement and translate these into concrete action points for Sales. We are talking about existing databases (e.g., Nielsen) and raw data from customers.
- Provide insight to Field Sales Managers to help him adapting his coverage strategy and adapting his objectives.
- Intensive use of available instruments, so that business opportunities arise, including promotion management for the benefit of customers.
- Support, facilitate and initiate internal processes between Marketing, Sales, and Logistics; among other things through support of introduction processes and management of (internal) promotion processes.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead & support the development of 1 trade marketing specialist.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3-5 years of professional experience in the FMCG or Drinks Industry with a first experience in people management
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- Autonomous, negotiation skills, hands-on mentality, strong advisory and facilitation skills
- A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration within an organization
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, positive, and innovative mindset
- Digital minded, tech savvy and project management skills.
