In this role you will drive the growth of our locations, as our goal is a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations. Fastned is a fast growing, listed scaleup company and is currently active in nine countries (head office in Amsterdam and offices in Belgium, Germany, the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Switzerland).

Full-time - This role can be based in Ghent, Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris or London.*

**Your role**:
As our **Business Analyst** you will join our European Network Development team to drive the growth of Fastned and contribute to our mission: 'Giving freedom to the Electric Driver’. Together with a highly skilled team, you will help to strengthen Fastned’s position as a leading charging provider. You will support the different European expansion teams and the New Markets team with analyzing opportunities and building strong business proposals. As part of a European team you will support the evaluation of new deal types and partnerships with private and public landowners.

Your job will involve visiting our target regions, understanding the local drivers of growth in the e-mobility industry, simulating the performance of our target locations and understanding how we can create value in complex deals and collaborations. You are extremely analytical and detail oriented, you understand the link between contracts and their underlying business case and you are creative in coming up with new ways to close deals Knowledge of the energy sector and/or mobility sector is a plus, but not a requirement. We’ll bring you up to speed in our in-depth onboarding program, where you will attend a series of workshops to learn all about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure.

As a member of the Fastned-family we want you to ‘think like a founder’. We value your input, we expect you to think critically and take ownership. You will work with a team of highly skilled experts on closing contracts for new sites, while taking ownership of the business case that will lead to an investment decision. You will create the financial business case for new deals, focusing on complex partnerships, portfolio deals and tenders. This hands-on role is flexible in terms of location, and allows you to work in different markets. We believe it's very important for you to become part of our fun and diverse team. You will collaborate closely with other teams across our different European locations.

**Job requirements**:
You are very analytical, have great attention to detail, creative in financial structures and passionate about a green future. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

- 1-3 years of relevant work experience;
- Plus points if you have previous experience with finance or the e-mobility/energy sector
- You have a ‘go-getter’ mentality: you are results-driven, a strong communicator, and you are able to project the vision and values of Fastned;
- You are analytical and have deep business understanding and ability to create value;
- You are very comfortable running analyses with Excel and other tools;
- Outstanding communication skills in English;
- You have an eye for detail, can thoroughly and critically evaluate a business opportunity;
- Open for regular travel within Europe and the UK;
- You are highly motivated by accelerating the energy transition and join a fun company that works hard to make a difference.
