Quality and Sustainability Coordinator

**Wat zal je job inhouden?**:
Our client, a full-service provider for fastening technologies in the automotive industry, is looking for a quality and sustainability coordinator for their European headquarters in Genk.
The purpose of this newly created role is to work on and optimize the use of the internal system for quality and environmental management and to set and speed up new projects on these topics.
Your tasks are among others:
- Document update and control. Make sure that all organizational changes are integrated in the management system
- Control of international and customer norms or standards, including special requirements or drawings
- Plan and coordinate the global execution of the system and process audits with the internal auditors and the local teams
- Being part of the internal auditor team
- Plan and coordinate the global execution of the external certification audits with the certification companies and with the global departments
- Follow-up, support and report on the corrective actions generated from audits
- Analyse and implement the strategic sustainability projects
- Monitor the CO2 footprint data
- Respond to the supplier specific questions and define actions to fulfil the requirements.
**Wat zoeken we?**:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant experience in a technical role, preferably in the automotive sector
- Active experience with performing internal and external audits
- Basic knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 - IATF16949)
- Basic knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools
- Fluent knowledge of English is required
- Showing a great interest in sustainability
- High mental flexibility and able to work independently
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Flexibility to make short global business trips
