As a division of Fednot, the service unit ICT develops state of the art solutions to help the notaries in their daily activities.
We build solutions, platforms and e-portals, to help the notaries and their employees serve the citizen and to simplify interactions between notaries, their clients and public services. The automation and administrative simplification of the notaries’ workflow is key to succeeding in this endeavor.

**Data Analyst BI (M/F/x)**
**The job**
To strengthen our BI team, who is in charge of centralizing all data request at Fednot, we are looking for an extra data analyst. This team also builds a dozen of real estate barometers each year with different focusses, which are published in the national & specialized press.
The Data Analyst meets the Business and Technical teams to gather and analyze the data and reporting needs of both, as well as the requirements of new Data Projects. (S)He provides requested Business insights which enables data-driven decision making at Fednot.
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting data and turning it into valuable information which can offer ways to improve our business. You will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends. In addition to ad hoc requests, you will work on recurring reports in order to inform the notaries and the citizens about, among other things, the real estate trends in Belgium.
**You want to**
- Analyze large datasets while interacting & coordinating with different **internal & external stakeholders**.
- Make proposals regarding the Data Lake & Data Warehouse **governance**:
- Participate to the creation of a **Data culture** and contribute to a better data governance at Fednot.
- Produce **high visibility reporting** which is regularly published in the press.
- Provide Business insights & data supporting the **decision making process** on company level.
- ** Analyze trends **and be able to **translate insights **in a structured number of key recommendations and discussion items
- ** Present your key data driven insights **in a compelling and convincing manner
- ** Create clear reports** that identify consistent trends and propose actionable insights
- Perform regular **quality control checks** on data, including resolving any discrepancies.
**You have**
- A Master Degree, ideally linked with IT and/or Data science;
- At least 1 year of professional experience;
- Experience with a data science environment;
- Knowledge of Python, GIT, SQL & Cloud Data Environments is an asset.
- Experience of a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Looker Studio ) is an asset.
**You are**
- Proactive, enthusiastic, collaborative and flexible to liaise with multiple teams and detect future data opportunities;
- Willing to produce recurrent reporting;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills to present your results;
- Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of French is an asset
