**Mission**:
The mission of the VAT Analyst team is to ensure the company’s full indirect tax compliance in the most optimal way, provide strong guidance to the operations and report relevant data to all stakeholders on time.

As a member of the finance team you will be responsible for preparation and reporting of the indirect tax compliance. You will support Group Tax Director in the execution of day to day tax management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- In charge of worldwide VAT/GST compliance including reconciliation of EC Sales Lists, EC Purchase lists (and other reports as required), and Intrastat declarations, ensuring accurate, timely and complete submission of Belgian VAT return.
- Support the Group Tax Director in an advisory capacity to the business, responding to day to day queries and providing VAT support for business projects and the indirect tax implications with them.
- Deal within new projects to make sure that new business scenarios are correctly implemented from a VAT point of view.
- Support VAT and Intrastat implementation for upcoming SAP S/4HANA including implications for VAT compliance and reporting.
- Liaise wit customs manager to develop strong partnership.

**You have**:

- A master’s degree in finance and tax.
- A very good knowledge and experience with SAP (VAT implementation).
- At least a first experience in indirect taxes.
- An excellent knowledge of English (any other language is a plus): communication with the local auditors and all local authorities
- An experience in the industrial sector and in an international company is an advantage

- Eager to learn and move mid-term to a broader tax functions (direct tax, transfer pricing, ).

- A good communicator, able to build a relationship of trust with internal and external stakeholders, locally and internationally.
