DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
**Scope**:
This position will have a key impact on the ability to conduct assurance testing activities on the security controls across the
organization.
Member of the Global Security team, supporting Northern Europe (Belgium and Germany).
**Stakeholders**:
Internal: AXA Partners SI & AXA Partners Internal Audit, IT Leadership & Business Leadership, IT Operations & Business Operations,
peers, Local/Regional CISO, CSO and Security team members
External: external third parties to be audited such as vendors and partners
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Relationship: Work as part of the Global Security Community to ensure presence, quality and effectiveness of processes & controls by
interacting with AXA Partners CSO, CISO, CORO, CPSO, GRC, Regional Security Officers, Global Security Centre, SO and other stakeholders
as necessary.
- Improvements: Serve as an expert advisor to regional entities in the implementation and maintenance of security and resilience processes
and controls.
- Risk management: Identify and analyse risk for employees, systems and business recommending appropriate mitigation options.
Asset management: Assess the impact on the business environment and align appropriate mitigation actions or the prioritization of
projects and investments within the entity.
- Work as part of the Global Security team to regularly review and implement continuous improvement of processes and
activities (e.g., good practices, reporting, problem resolution) to ensure quality and relevance of security services
- Escalate the need to redirect investment or change practices to mitigate critical risks and ensure legal, regulatory, or commercial
compliance.
- Monitor and maintain system confidentiality, integrity and availability and manage all security incidents with the GRC.
- Work in collaboration with the central GRC to oversee the execution of security within BAU, projects and processes for all the spectrum of
Information, Operational Resilience & Physical Security.
- Assurance Approaches
- Assessment of the deliverable, i.e., through evaluation and testing
- Assessment of the processes used to produce the deliverable
- Assessment of the environment, such as personnel and facilities
- Ensure development and maintenance of auditable processes to enforce consistency across the region.
- Technical:
- Approve appropriate methods (such as FW) for the protection of computer networks and other communication channels
- Ensure that authentication methods, password policy, encryption methods, rules for secure teleworking, security features of
Internet services are compliant with AXA requirements and according to ISO27k
- Participate in the Global security community to continually develop expert security knowledge and facilitate best practice sharing

**Your Profile**
Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Your strong background in IT-risk analysis, auditing and/or information security practices with experience in financial/insurance industries
would be greatly beneficial.
Your excellent problem-solving skills and ability to plan and execute on project plans will help you to deliver work autonomously with
minimum supervision and effectively operate in our dynamic and global organization. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have
strong knowledge of risks and risk-mitigation strategies as well as information-security-awareness training experience.
Our very fast-paced environment will require you to demonstrate your ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and
priorities.
You are highly organised with a strong management background. You will be required to interact effectively, internally and externally with
all levels across the company including executive management.
Team player: actively contributes in order to complete tasks to meet goals or manage projects. actively listen to improve the product or
process at hand. Understand that their team’s success is their own success and share responsibility.
Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience
Resilience, Physical Security Health and Safety)
- Experience with IS / OR and / or PSS risk control standards, norms, frameworks and regulations (eg. ISO 27x, NIST, ISO
22301, GDPR ) applicable to the security field
- Extensive knowledge of auditing or security tools and solutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations and standards that govern information security practices and frameworks such as ISO,
NIST, SANS CSC, etc.
- An MSc Information Security would be desirable but is not essential
- Experience with project management, coordination and program team > 10 years
- Experience of working with specific Security Controls > 10 years
- Experience with technologies, tools and process controls to minimize security risk and data exposure > 10 years
