DHL Express is looking for a **Senior Analyst Business Intelligence** for its office in Diegem, Belgium. The purpose of the role is to support the business users through detailed root cause analysis, investigating reported issues or build of new capabilities to support them in the day to day management of the business area.
To povide technical input on design, development, implementation for major solutions. To provide technical expertise with respect to leading-edge BI development technologies.
**YOUR TASKS**:
**BI analysis, development and testing**
- Ability to communicate with data to perform analysis of potential Improvement Opportunities/ root cause of quality issues. Master a solid understanding of the underlying data and the related business rules.
- Act as a first point of escalation, focal point and expert in domain area in support of the business teams.
- Drive/challenge local teams in their usage of data and reporting to counter reporting silo's.
- Meet project milestones and budget.
**Technology, Touchpoint, People and Processes**
- Participate in deployment of training packages.
- Build an effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technology savy/driven with an interest in exploring new area's (machine learning, R, python, D3, Angular 2,...).
**WHAT YOU BRING**:
- Total of 5 to 8 years work experience in BI development.
- At least 3 years working experience in BI technologies (Power BI, Cognos).
- At least 3 years working experience in reporting analysis and gaining insights out of data (including forming the business requirement specification documentation).
- Experience in communicating across project team in different locations.
- Others: passion for technology; good communicator, team player, possitive and can-do attitude.
- Knowledge and/or working experience in a cross-cultural environment is desirable.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
- Able to work independently (e.g. individual contributor) as well as in a team (e.g. group contributor).
